Baptism Gifts They’ll Cherish for a Lifetime
Whether you’re celebrating the joy of baptism as an infant or an
adult, commemorating such a huge life event is important. Give a gift
that will help them keep the memory of this spiritual milestone alive
for years to come with figurative sculptures from Willow Tree.
Crafted by artist Susan Lordi, Willow Tree figurines capture a moment
in time, express personal feelings, and celebrate life’s milestones.
Rendered to suggest elegance, simplicity, peace, and serenity, Willow
Tree speaks quietly to the hearts of those who receive them.
Below are four pieces that will memorialize the beautiful moment of baptism for years to come.
Prayer of Peace
According to artist Susan Lordi, she “wanted this prayer figure to be
a humble piece, but very centering, calming, peaceful… with a universal
gesture of meditative thought.” This figurine depicts a young girl
praying delicately whilst kneeling. Her dress is composed of hand-carved
doves, flowers, and leaves crafted in exquisite detail.
2018 Ornament
These figurine ornaments
are a phenomenal way to celebrate the large, memorable moments of the
year. Coming in at 4” tall this hand-painted resin ornament depicts a
small girl delicately clutching a golden heart composed of gold leaf
that displays the year 2018.
Angel of Comfort
The only Willow Tree angel figurine that depicts a little boy, Angel of Comfort
displays a sweet boy angel cuddling a small brown dog. His face
lovingly snuggles the top of the pup’s head, with his metal wired wings
poking up behind his head.
Shine
This figure portrays a girl confidently celebrating her victory, whatever it may be. Part of Susan’s Signature Collection, Shine
is beautifully embellished with gold leaf dots and Ombre blue detailing
on the dress. Carved in the round, this figure will look great from any
angle it’s displayed.
About Willow Tree
Providing an intimate line of figurines and sculptures that speak in
quiet ways to display the love of family and the quiet joy that love
brings to life, Willow Tree has inspired gift giving since 1999. Artist
Susan Lordi hand carves the each original figure from her studio in
Kansas City, Missouri. Without facial expressions, these beautiful
figurines depict emotion through gestures only… a tilt of the head,
placement of the hands, a turn of the body. The simplicity of form and
absence of facial features leave Willow Tree figures open for personal
emotional interpretation. From her first nativity set nearly twenty years ago, Susan inspires meaningful gift-giving from the heart.
